East Palestine is a community of
approximately 5000 residents located on the Ohio-Pennsylvania border, one mile
south of Route 14. It is within 50
miles of Pittsburgh, 85 miles of Cleveland and 20 miles of Youngstown. It was
founded in 1875 and has a charter form of government.

of East Palestine is accepting sealed bids for the sale of a 1980
Sutphen Pumper truck, Bids are due June 7 at Municipal Building at 144
N. Market St. Truck has Detroit Diesel Engine, pumps 1500 gallons per
minute and has an 800 gallon tank.**
