~~~~ STREET DEPARTMENT ~~~~
The city of East Palestine Street Department maintains 56 miles of streets and alleys. There are also 775 culverts, catch basins and junction boxes in the City that must be maintained.
The Street crew picks up bags of leaves from November 1st until they begin plowing snow each year.
Please remember that grass cuttings are NOT to be blown onto City streets. The City does not pick up grass clippings.
The Street crew will not be picking up limbs or brush from private property in 2011. Hauling limbs and brush away is the property owner's responsibility.
Christmas trees can be disposed of near the City Park entrance. Cross the bridge after entering the Park, look for the sign on the right. City crews do not pick up Christmas trees after the holidays.
